Description   This fantastic coffee from the Jinotega region of Nicaragua is harvested on small family-owned farms averaging 1.5 hectares in size (2.5 acres). Bordering Honduras, the mountainous region is famous for its beautiful cliff-side vistas, natural hot-springs, and quality coffee. Along the high northern peaks, Jinotega boasts extraordinary biodiversity and fertile soil. Mild temperature and evenly-distributed rainfall over the year makes this the perfect location for quality coffees. A Superb Medium-Dark Coffee December 27, 2024 Reviewer: Stephen Bush from Washington Court House, OH United States   I am delighted to report that Fair Mountain and their Nicaragua Jinotega organic medium-dark coffee has restored my faith in coffee. I have been on a quest for the past four years or so to rediscover a coffee worthy of drinking every morning with breakfast. I am not sure whether my taste changed or many/most coffee products went downhill during this time (or perhaps both), but my search is over for now. It certainly helps that the Fair Mountain team custom grinds each order to ensure freshness. The personalized touch to coffee is still alive and well at Fair Mountain Coffee Roasters.
